Lamborghini seized as part of police major crackdown on uninsured vehicles, has been auctioned off in a seized vehicle auction, fetching a whopping £218,000 it is believed to be the highest valued police seized vehicle to be sold at auction to date.
The Lamborghini was spotted by police without a front plate and after doing some background checks, police found the owner of the vehicle not having the correct insurance for the vehicle. After the owner not providing the correct seized car insurance to release the vehicle from the police compound, police decided to sell the vehicle at auction. Police have decided to keep the proceeds from the auction of the seized vehicle to help funding of policing the city.
In the last six months, police seized a high volume of expensive super cars, a couple of which belonged to Qatari Royal family.
